There will be times in life when you feel you’re all alone even with a hundred people around you. It is true, I feel it too!
But what we need to remind ourselves is that we choose our own path and the journey is ours alone. Not everyone will always stand by you and that is okay. Remind yourself of your strength and that you’ve come a long way.
Stop being brutal to your mind and be thankful for all the amazing things you are blessed with!
Learn to pause, breathe and look around for the little things that many others fails to see. Be grateful for every single day and embrace the hustle.
Stay strong and make it a journey you’ll be proud of, because it is only you and you alone who will look back at it. ❤

And in time of quarantine,
she sees the world unite.
The streets, the parks
the restaurants and bars;
they all seem to be eerily quiet.
The mornings are not spent
with phones and traffic anymore.
Instead, she watches the sunrise
and listens to the birds chirp.
Some wake up in the warmth
of their loved ones,
while some, make that extra phone call
to spend some virtual moments.
And now she can’t stop but think,
if it is nature’s way of seeking revenge.
Revenge for all the damage we cause.
For the climate change and Global warming
which we ignore considering a myth.
Or maybe it’s a reminder,
for her to connect with herself.
To find the true meaning to life;
to love, to breathe, to Pray,
and to find peace.
Because unlike us, it’s nature
and nature alone that is invincible.

I have always loved Autumn and clearly, my pencils do too! It has been a while since I played around with my color-pencils and so I let my heart lead my hand. And this was the result! Not bad, huh? 🙂
The warmth, the colors, the grey skies, the scent, everything about Autumn makes my heart happy! ❤

In silence I watched the colors slowly change,
from faint blue and pink to bright yellow and orange.
It was some kind of magic that suddenly,
everything seemed at peace.
So why be worried about the journey ahead?
Why be afraid if it takes a little longer?
There’s no rush, I tell myself.
Because unlike humans, it’s these beautiful sunsets
that have taught me the importance of patience.
